Using HQ.training

These terms cover the HQ.training website and phone app. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you use HQ on behalf of a gym or another business, you must have authority to act for it.

The service

HQ brings together training calendars, coaching, workout records, health trends, classes, memberships and billing. Features depend on your plan, account permissions, device and the services you connect.

Your account

Provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in details and use only accounts you are authorized to access. Tell us at hello@hq.training if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission. You are responsible for the content you upload and for having permission to share it.

Training and health information

HQ is a training and wellness tool. Its charts, scores, estimates and suggestions are not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and the service is not an emergency monitoring system. Device readings and calculated metrics can be incomplete or inaccurate. Make training decisions with your own circumstances in mind, and seek advice from a qualified health professional when appropriate.

Connected services

Connecting Oura or another service authorizes HQ to read the data you permit and use it to provide your HQ features. Each provider has its own terms, permissions and availability requirements. Data may arrive late or stop arriving if access expires, is revoked, or the provider changes its service. You can disconnect a service in your connected services settings. Disconnecting stops future imports; use your export and account controls to manage data already imported.

Your content and privacy

You retain your rights in the content you provide. You give HQ permission to store, process and display it as needed to operate the features you use and the sharing you choose. This permission does not transfer ownership of your content to HQ. Our Privacy Policy explains collection, use, access, exports and deletion. Share only information you intend others to see.

Plans and purchases

Prices, billing periods and any trial terms are shown when you subscribe or buy. A recurring HQ plan renews until cancelled. You can manage or cancel it through the billing controls; a cancelled HQ plan continues through the period you have paid for. Gym memberships, classes, coaching and storefront products can have separate seller terms shown for that purchase. Contact the seller about those services and hello@hq.training about HQ billing. These terms do not limit refund or cancellation rights that applicable law provides.

Acceptable use

Use HQ lawfully and respect other people. Do not impersonate others, upload material you have no right to use, harass people, access another person's private data without authorization, or interfere with the service. We may restrict access that violates these terms or threatens the service or its users.

Availability and your rights

We work to keep HQ available and accurate, but interruptions, maintenance and errors can occur. Keep copies of records you need using the export tools. Nothing in these terms excludes rights, guarantees or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Leaving HQ and changes to these terms

You can stop using HQ, disconnect providers and delete your account through Settings. Export records you want to keep before deletion. The Privacy Policy explains deletion and records a gym must retain. If these terms change materially, we will notify you before the change takes effect and identify the effective date.
